It was an honour to be invited to share Abridge Academy’s story on the LBC (London Broadcasting Company) Business Hour radio show.
The UK’s first licensed commercial radio station, LBC is a London-based national radio station. With over 2.7 million listeners every week, they are one of the top ten commercial radio stations in the UK.
The weekly business hour, by Iain Dale, shares useful advice, case studies and guest speakers for entrepreneurs on a wide range of topics.
Abridge Academy was invited to join the LBC Business Hour hosted by Iain Dale and Emma Jones from Enterprise Nation. The show focused on how small businesses have adapted to the coronavirus outbreak, particularly through use of social media and online technologies.
We were delighted to be invited to share our experiences as an educational travel company, particularly our move to offering online programs such as our Star Mentor online tutoring program and accredited online TEFL courses. The show also emphasised the importance of seeing every challenge as a new opportunity – and we discussed how the coronavirus pandemic has helped Abridge Academy diversify our programs and become more resilient going into the future.
We would like to express our thanks to LBC Radio and Enterprise Nation for this opportunity!
