Awesome science themed lessons! My students and I love that so many topics in the English News course are science related. The discussion questions were fantastic at getting one of my shyest students to speak and elaborate on her ideas. She spoke at length about her ideas for protecting animals!

Interactive and engaging I have been using Abridge curriculum for my youngest learners for two years. The interactivity keeps young minds engaged, and the lesson routine is predictable yet fresh with each lesson, unit, and level. Highly recommend!

Best bang for the buck! I've tried many curriculums, and for this age [young learners], I think Abridge delivers the best bang for the buck. I had a student who could barely speak at all at the beginning of December who is now progressing very well and independently reading!

Great themed lessons I really like your interactive curriculum! The School of Magic lesson is so brilliant - virtually all of my students love Harry Potter and this sort of theme and this class is so fun for both student and teacher. I’m really excited to teach it to my students.

Must-have for online teachers I absolutely love these lessons. I tried the Chinese New Year lesson with one of my students and he loved it! The crossword, games, acting and gifs of the animals were so cool. I love your work Katie and thank you for always being such a great example of how we should create and engage. Like VIPkid, zero prep work required I am so impressed with this company’s curriculum. My students craved the interactivity they once had with online Chinese schools like PalFish, VIPKid etc. so this company fills a much needed gap for online teachers like myself. Overall, the curriculum is well-organized, clever and fun. Most importantly, it requires very little prep-work which is a must for busy/lazy teachers like me, lol. I am particularly impressed with the expansion courses. My son, students, and their parents all loved “The School of Magic”. I’ve yet to try many of the others with students but I’ve had a chance to review them and they look great. The customer service is also outstanding. I always get a quick and helpful reply which is important to me as I’m not very tech savvy. I really appreciate all their help in figuring out how to use the various video platforms as well as all the assistance with learning how to use tools and navigate the site, etc. Anyway, 5 stars all the way, highly recommended! Well structured, interactive and fun I highly recommend the Abridge Academy curriculum to all Independent Teachers! My students are really enjoying it. Interactive lesson previews These interactive resources have been received so well by my online learners the past four months. I have found the lesson preview links really useful as pre-class preparation. They provide a really great way for learners to gain some further confidence before class, because of encouraged pre-class practice.

Such a timesaver! I just finished teaching a lesson, and my student and I are both very excited. Initially, she asked me if she could take a screenshot during the lesson, but I told her that I would send her the workbook after the lesson instead. I can't express how happy I am. AA is a lifesaver, and I can also do my house chores during the time I would have spent planning lessons. I don't have to plan my own lessons anymore. I am a Happy Chappie. Haha

The BEST online ESL curriculum After spending years wallowing in resources and then checking out all the plug-n-play stuff around, I think that Katie has done a great job with Abridge. These are just what I need, and, importantly, the slide shows are interactive. They include introductory activities, games and revision, so I don't need to think of anything. The format looks exciting and fun. I particularly love the placement test.

Amazing debating lessons - brought in new students! My student and I recently started the debating lessons. He is 13 years old and has a high level of English. These lessons are right up his street! He has been able to form opinions and ideas while understanding and seeing a different opinion from his own! My student enjoyed the lesson so much that he requested homework and shared it with his classmate, who had just signed up for classes today. I LOVE Abridge! I really can't get over this curriculum. I've used a lot of different books and ready-set-go curriculums but this steals the show. Videos are set into the pages and some how it works right with the students. Gets them learning and expressing the language at the right pace. Thank you!

Super interactive and lots of games Abridge Academy's teaching resources are well-rounded, fully interactive, kids-friendly, fun and engaging teaching resources, standardized to follow and facilitate my students' growth in their English skills development. They love the animations, little built-in rewards and being able to drag and drop, draw and interact with the content. Parents love having lesson previews and home practice activities, and I feel very much fulfilled when I see my student's smiles and parents' satisfaction, all thanks to Katie and her creative, high-quality work she put in developing the teaching resources.

AMAZING and engages even reluctant students The Abridge Academy curriculum is absolutely amazing, I’ve recently started using it with several of my students and the transformation I’ve been seeing in them is just wonderful. One of my more reluctant students I didn’t have to teach - he was raring to go and sentences were being used! He flew through the level 1 lesson Fruits and even read me a short story at the end of the class!

Saves a huge amount of lesson planning time Abridge Academy was recommended to me by another teacher and I began researching. Well researched advanced courses I have a 12 yo student and I have been using the lower intermediate curriculum with him the last few months. I have used both Space Explorers and English News with this student and he really enjoyed all of the material! They’re well researched - great for conversations 🙂

Very professional As a brick and mortar teacher (27 yrs), I am so impressed with the Abridge curriculum. I came across the charts that show how AA compares to the online companies and the background for developing the curriculum (CEFR, Cambridge, etc). It’s this kind of development that gives the curriculum so much credibility. When I decided to teach online a couple of years ago, one of my concerns was whether I’d be able to find a curriculum which had educational integrity. Abridge Academy certainly does. Takes phonics teaching to a whole new level!
