Halloween meet-up
In As Halloween is not commonly celebrated in China, our Shenzhen au pairs met up for a fun afternoon of arts and crafts followed by heading out to a party,
They enjoyed decorating the au pair HQ with halloween-themed balloons, paper pumpkins and bunting, creating a fun environment to catch up over cake!
Party time!
In the evening, they got the face paints out and dressed up as scary clowns, ghosts and monsters before heading out to terrorise the town!
As a more modern city with a large expat population, Shenzhen has plenty of pop-up events and a vibrant night life, making it the perfect city to both experience local Chinese culture while being able to escape some evenings to a more western environment!
